Terms of Service for the Use of eStation EV Charging App

General Information

• By registering to use the eStation APP You are entering into this Agreement and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The App is provided by eStation, to deliver a seamless EV charging experience.
• These Terms govern your use of the App, including account registration, payment processing, and access to charging station services.
• By using the Service, You confirm that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of the eStation Privacy Policy, which is available at https://estation.ie/privacy-policy.

Registration and Account

• To use the App, you must register an account by providing accurate and up-to-date information.
• A valid payment card must be registered to your account to enable payment for EV charging services.

Service Usage

• You are permitted to use all available Charge Points in the eStation EV Charging APP in accordance with these Terms of Service.
• All pricing for charging sessions is clearly displayed in the App at the time You select a charger.
• Payment for sessions is processed via the payment card registered in Your Account.
• You must ensure compliance with all parking restrictions in the vicinity of Charge Points and will be responsible for paying any applicable parking fees.
• In case of any operational issues with a Charge Point, You must report the issue to support@estation.ie or through the App.

Payment and Pricing

• The price for charging services is displayed within the App at the time you select a charger. You must review the price before proceeding with charging.
• All payments are processed via the payment card linked to your account. You are responsible for ensuring the payment card is valid and has sufficient funds.
• eStation reserves the right to update pricing at any time. Changes will be reflected within the App.

Charging Sessions

• The App provides access to participating EV charging stations. Availability of chargers may vary depending on location and demand.
• You must ensure your vehicle is compatible with the selected charger and follow all safety instructions displayed at the charging station.

Overstay Fee

• To ensure fair access to charging infrastructure, an Overstay Fee may be applied if a vehicle remains connected to a Charge Point for an extended period. Please refer to CPO Terms of Service for further details on Overstay Charges.
• Circumventing Overstay Fees by repeatedly stopping and restarting sessions is prohibited.

• For support or inquiries regarding the App or charging services, please contact us at support@estation.ie.
• Support is available during the operating hours listed on our website.

Privacy Policy

• The collection and processing of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed at https://estation.ie/privacy-policy.
• By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in the Privacy Policy.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
• Misuse of the App, including fraudulent or unauthorized activity, may result in account suspension or termination.

Limitation of Liability and Termination

• eStation is not liable for any damage to your vehicle or charging equipment arising from improper use.
• The App and related services are provided “as is.” eStation makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability or reliability of the App or charging services.
• eStation will not be liable for damages caused by improper use of Charge Points or related equipment.
• eStation may terminate this Agreement if You breach these Terms of Service.
• You may terminate this Agreement by closing Your Account and settling any outstanding fees.

Changes to Terms

• eStation reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
